Airsoft

Airsoft is a delicate category since it resembles weapons.
Proper documentation and understanding of local laws is crucial to deliver airsoft.
Lunarcat is about one of the only business in Japan that specializes in delivery of airsoft items internationally.

Shipping

Lunarcat uses Japan Post to ship airsoft guns.

Airsoft guns can be shipped with any shipping option as long as size and weight requirements are met.

All gases must be emptied out before shipping internationally.
Compressed gas cans cannot be shipped. If your product contains compressed gas cans, we will dispose before shipping internationally.

Airsoft guns containing batteries can be shipped if certain conditions are met. Batteries including Nickel-cadmium, Nickel-hydrogen can be shipped with Japan Post. For Nickel-hydrogen batteries, taping needs to be done to avoid electrical shorts.

We cannot ship airsoft guns for countries where Japan Post does not operate to (including the United States).

Country-Specific Requirements

Within Japan, strict regulations limit the firing power of airsoft guns, and anything exceeding these limits is illegal.
Assuming this condition is met, international customers should be aware of the following information:

United States

FedEx does not allow shipping airsoft guns. Please wait until Japan Post comes back!
(a) Airsoft guns are disassembled into two parts and shipped separately.
(b) The muzzle must display an orange marker of at least 5mm.

United Kingdom

Airsoft guns are classified as either IF (Imitation Firearm) or RIF (Realistic Imitation Firearm).
If an airsoft looks like a toy, it is an IF and can be imported by anyone.
If an airsoft is indistinguishable in appearance from a real firearm (regardless of functionality), only those with a UKARA membership can import.

France

Spain

Los clientes deben poseer una “tarjeta de armas” para importar réplicas de airsoft. Estas tarjetas se pueden obtener en el ayuntamiento a partir de los 14 años. Cada tarjeta permite la importación de hasta seis réplicas de airsoft, y es posible obtener varias tarjetas.
