Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lunarcat, you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all purchase requests, forwarding requests, storage, packing, shipping, account use, and related services provided by Lunarcat Company.

2. Service Description

Lunarcat Company provides Japanese Proxy purchase, sourcing support, storage service, and shipping support. Lunarcat Company purchases or receives items on behalf of customers and helps ship them internationally where legally and practically possible.

Lunarcat Company acts as a purchasing and forwarding agent. Lunarcat Company is not the manufacturer, original seller, marketplace, carrier, customs authority, or payment processor.

3. Account Registration

To use Lunarcat services, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify Lunarcat Company immediately of unauthorized account access
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

4. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing the proper item information to purchase
• Providing accurate shipping addresses and contact information
• Confirming whether your item can be exported from Japan and imported into your country
• Paying item costs, service fees, shipping fees, duties, taxes, and other applicable charges
• Responding to customs, carrier, or Lunarcat Company requests when needed
• Not using Lunarcat services for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited activity

5. Service Fees and Payments

Lunarcat Company charges service fees for purchasing, forwarding, storage, packing, customs declaration, insurance, and other services where applicable.

Purchase service fees are tier-based. Current rates and free storage periods are shown on the User Tier page.

Storage fees apply after the free storage period expires. Shipping costs depend on package weight, dimensions, destination, carrier, and selected services.

Payment methods may involve payment processor fees or exchange-rate effects. For refund handling related to payment processors, see the Payment Guide.

Lunarcat Company does not charge customers separately for refund processor fees. However, Lunarcat Company cannot refund more cash than the amount actually received from the payment processor. If part of a payment cannot be recovered as cash, the unrecoverable amount may be credited as Lunarcat Points instead. Points credit cannot be refunded as cash.

6. Orders and Purchase Requests

When you submit an order, Lunarcat Company will attempt to purchase the requested item according to the information you provide.

• Prices, availability, seller terms, and marketplace conditions may change before purchase
• Auction bids are placed according to your instructions and maximum bid
• Orders may be cancelled if the item is unavailable, prohibited, restricted, or impractical to purchase
• Once an item has been purchased or a bid has been placed, cancellation is generally not available unless the seller or platform cancels the transaction

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund eligibility is controlled by the Buyer Protection Policy.

In general:

• Cancellations are refundable when requested at least 30 minutes before Lunarcat Company purchases the item
• Cancellations requested after purchase are not refundable
• If an item cannot be purchased for any reason, the item cost and related purchase fees are refundable
• If Lunarcat Company purchases the wrong item, ships the wrong item, or ships to an address different from the address you provided, the issue is refundable
• If the customer ordered the wrong listing, size, color, quantity, or provided the wrong address, the issue is not refundable
• Change-of-mind requests are not refundable after purchase

8. Item Condition and Authenticity

Lunarcat Company is not the manufacturer or seller of the items purchased. Lunarcat Company cannot guarantee product quality, authenticity, completeness, age, smell, packaging condition, or long-term functionality unless the Buyer Protection Policy specifically provides coverage.

Functional defects for new items may be refundable under the Buyer Protection Policy. Functional defects for used items are generally not refundable.

Lunarcat Company does not have the capability to verify authenticity directly. If you need authenticity support, please review the Authenticity Guide. Authenticity issues are refundable only when you requested an appraisal or authentication service and that service finds an issue.

9. Prohibited, Restricted, and Unshippable Items

Lunarcat Company does not purchase or ship items that are illegal, unsafe, prohibited by law, prohibited by carriers, or impractical to export or import.

Examples include:

• Illegal items or items prohibited by Japanese law, destination-country law, or international shipping rules
• Hazardous materials, explosives, and highly flammable goods
• Real firearms, real weapons, ammunition, and regulated weapon parts
• Counterfeit or pirated goods
• Food, consumables, plants, animal products, cosmetics, chemicals, or other items that cannot legally or safely be shipped to the destination
• Items restricted by customs, carriers, marketplaces, or payment processors

Airsoft items are allowed when they can be handled under Lunarcat policies and applicable export/import rules. Customers are responsible for confirming whether airsoft items can be imported into their country.

Lunarcat Company generally does not purchase unshippable items. If an item turns out to be unshippable after purchase, see the Final Solutions Page.

If resale support is available, Lunarcat Company may help sell the item domestically. Purchase fees are not refunded during this process. If the item sells, Lunarcat Company refunds the recovered revenue after deducting platform fees, domestic shipping, and other transaction costs. Payment transaction costs, such as PayPal fees, are the customer’s responsibility.

Disposal is free in most cases. For large items that need paid disposal, a disposal fee of ¥1,000 + ¥150/kg (rounded up to the next kg), will be charged.

10. Storage

Lunarcat Company provides free storage based on your user tier. After the free storage period expires, storage fees apply.

Lunarcat Company is responsible for damage or loss caused by Lunarcat Company’s handling error while an item is in Lunarcat storage. Lunarcat Company is not responsible for natural deterioration during storage, including mold, age-related damage, humidity-sensitive materials, battery leakage, packaging degradation, or other deterioration not caused by Lunarcat Company’s handling error.

11. Shipping, Customs, and Delivery

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Customs clearance, import duties, taxes, inspection, delays, seizure, return, destruction, and carrier decisions are outside Lunarcat Company’s direct control.

Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs filings, and destination-country compliance unless paying for a coresponding service.

Without Lunarcat Insurance, shipping risk generally transfers after the parcel is handed to the carrier. With Lunarcat Insurance, damage or loss during international shipping may be covered according to the Insurance Guide.

Items stolen after delivery, including parcels marked delivered by the carrier, are not refundable.

12. Lunarcat Insurance

Lunarcat Insurance covers lost or damaged items during the shipping phase when insurance was selected for the shipment. See the Insurance Guide for details.

Insurance does not cover every situation. Customs seizure, customer address errors, authenticity issues, mold, natural deterioration, and theft after delivery are not covered unless a specific policy states otherwise.

Airsoft Compliance is a separate exception. If an eligible airsoft item is seized by customs, Lunarcat Company will refund the covered item cost according to the Airsoft Compliance policy.

13. Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned after shipping, the shipping-cost refund depends on whether the carrier refunds Lunarcat Company.

• If the carrier refunds the shipping cost, Lunarcat Company refunds the shipping cost to you
• If the carrier does not refund the shipping cost, Lunarcat Company cannot refund it

Associated service fees such as insurance, packing, customs declaration, and similar shipment service fees will be refunded so you are not double charged for the second shipment.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lunarcat Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

Lunarcat Company’s responsibility is limited to the specific transaction and to the coverage expressly provided by these Terms, the Buyer Protection Policy, Lunarcat Insurance, Airsoft Compliance, or another written Lunarcat policy.

Nothing in this section removes refund rights expressly provided in the Buyer Protection Policy.

15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Lunarcat Company provides a strong refund policy and a commitment to taking responsibility that a proper business should.

If anything goes wrong, please contact first, and Lunarcat Company will do its best to resolve the issue directly.

Opening a payment dispute or chargeback without making a good-faith effort to resolve may limit available resolution options and may result in account restriction.

16. Account Suspension and Termination

Lunarcat Company may suspend or terminate an account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You submit illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited requests
• You fail to pay required fees or charges
• You misuse refunds, chargebacks, points, coupons, or payment systems
• Lunarcat Company is required to do so by law, carrier rules, marketplace rules, or payment processor rules

17. Intellectual Property

All content on the Lunarcat website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and page designs, is owned by Lunarcat Company or used with permission. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

18. Privacy

Your use of Lunarcat services is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how Lunarcat Company collects, uses, and protects personal information.

19. Changes to Terms

Lunarcat Company may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Continued use of Lunarcat services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
