By accessing and using Lunarcat’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Lunarcat provides Japanese proxy shopping and package forwarding services. We purchase items from Japanese online marketplaces and physical stores on behalf of our customers and ship them internationally.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

4. Service Fees

Our fee structure includes:

• Service Fee: Percentage-based on item purchase price (tier-based: 15.0% – 8.0%)
• Storage Fee: ¥1,500 per 30-day period after free storage period expires
• Shipping Costs: Based on package weight, dimensions, and destination
• Additional Fees: May apply for special handling, insurance, or expedited services

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our refund policy.

5. Prohibited Items

We do not purchase or ship:

• Illegal items or items prohibited by Japanese or international law
• Hazardous materials, flammable substances, or explosives
• Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
• Counterfeit or pirated goods
• Perishable food items or temperature-sensitive products
• Items restricted by shipping carriers or customs regulations

6. Order Processing

When you submit an order:

• We attempt to purchase items as quickly as possible
• Prices may fluctuate; we purchase at current market rates
• Auction items are bid on according to your specified maximum bid
• We are not responsible for item availability or seller cancellations
• Orders may be cancelled if items are unavailable or violate our policies

7. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping terms:

• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
• We are not responsible for customs delays or fees
• Customers are responsible for all import duties and taxes
• Insurance is optional but recommended for high-value items
• Risk of loss transfers to carrier upon shipment

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund conditions:

• Cancellations must be requested 30+ minutes before order placement
• Refunds available if we purchase the wrong item
• No refunds for customer address errors or refused deliveries
• Platform-specific refund policies apply (see Buyer Protection page)
• Service fees are non-refundable except in cases of our error

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We act as a purchasing and forwarding agent only
• We are not responsible for item quality, authenticity, or condition
• Our liability is limited to the service fees paid for the specific transaction
• We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or special damages
• We do not guarantee successful customs clearance

10. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate shipping addresses and contact information
• Comply with all applicable import/export laws
• Pay all fees, duties, and taxes promptly
• Not use our services for illegal purposes
• Accept responsibility for items you request us to purchase

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Lunarcat and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

12. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation between parties
• Mediation if negotiation fails
• Arbitration or legal proceedings as a last resort
