What types of stores can you visit for in-person shopping?

We can visit virtually any physical store in Japan including department stores, specialty shops, pop-up locations, convention venues, hobby stores, and limited-time exhibitions. If it's a legitimate retail location, we can likely shop there for you.

How does the in-person shopping process work?

Simply use "Offline Shopping" as the item name in your order and tell us the store location and what to buy in the comments. We'll confirm availability, provide a cost estimate, and visit the store on your behalf once payment is confirmed.

Can you get event merchandise and convention items?

Yes! We specialize in event goods, convention merchandise, limited releases from exhibitions, and exclusive items from shows. This includes anime conventions, gaming events, and special pop-up collaborations throughout Japan.

What areas of Japan do you cover for in-person shopping?

We provide nationwide coverage across Japan with flexible scheduling. Whether it's Tokyo, Osaka, or regional locations, we can coordinate visits to stores throughout the country for your shopping requests.

How much does in-person shopping cost?

In-person shopping fees vary based on location, travel requirements, and complexity of the request. We provide transparent cost estimates before proceeding and keep our rates affordable at a cap of ¥10,000.

Can you handle store exclusive and limited edition items?

Absolutely! Store exclusives and limited-edition items are one of our specialties. We can visit specific store locations, handle release day purchases, and secure items that are only available at particular physical locations in Japan.

Can you visit multiple stores in one trip?

Yes! Extra fees will apply, but we can efficiently combine multiple store visits in one trip to save on costs and time. Just list all the items and store locations in your order comments, and we'll plan an optimized route to visit multiple stores during a single trip.

Lunarcat provides in-person shopping services for offline purchases at a reasonable cost.

How It Works

Submit your order and select the shop’s location (or select “Not sure where the shop is”)
If you have a photo or excel file for easier description of the purchase list, please feel free to send those via comments/email/message.

We purchase the items
You are welcome to add or subtract items by messaging us after placing your order.

Lunarcat no longer supports offline orders with national coverage. We will be supporting areas only where our local agents are located at.

Area-Based Pricing

Lunarcat Fee is calculated based on the shop’s location and the entry ticket cost.
We may charge for time if the purchase takes too long, but will not charge on anything else (including transportation costs).

Time Charge

We will use 1 hours for purchasing in stores, and 2 hours in events.

* Anything that requires an entry ticket is considered an “event”.

This time excludes transportation times, but includes times if we have to wait in line.
Once this time is used, we will charge ¥1,500 per extra 30 minutes as the Time Charge.

* If the fee (based on tier) exceeds the Area Fee + Time Charge, we will not charge for any Time Charge.

Our in-person shopping service sends local shoppers to physical locations in Japan to purchase items that cannot be bought online.

Q. Can you shop anywhere in Japan?

No, we are no longer supporting areas where our agents are not located. Please see the Area-Based Pricing table for supported locations.

Q. What if the item is sold out when you visit?

We will refund the costs for sold out items. If all items are sold out, we will provide a full refund, including the fees.

Q. Can I use a single order to purchase together with someone else?

As you wish. We honestly do not care.

Q. How do shipping costs work?
